Location
Location Information
Our wedding takes place across two of Sydney's most beautiful spots! The charming harbourside village of Watsons Bay for the ceremony, and the iconic Grounds of Alexandria for the reception.
Watsons Bay sits at the tip of the South Head peninsula, offering breathtaking harbour views and a relaxed, unhurried feel. The Grounds of Alexandria is a beloved Sydney destination known for its lush gardens, stunning interiors, and warm, celebratory atmosphere, the perfect setting to dance the night away.
Weather
November is one of Sydney's loveliest months, warm, sunny, and full of spring energy. Expect temperatures in the mid-to-high 20s°C. We'd recommend light layers for the evening as it can cool down after sunset.
Time Zone
Sydney operates on Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), which is UTC+11 in November.
Accommodation
Sydney has a wonderful range of accommodation options to suit every style and budget. We recommend staying in the CBD for easy access to both venues. Popular areas include the city centre, Surry Hills, and Newtown.
For those looking to stay close to the reception, we recommend:
Veriu Green Square
18 O'Riordan Street, Alexandria
(02) 9160 2999
Conveniently located just minutes from The Grounds of Alexandria, perfect for a short trip home after a big night. We have a discount code in the works, so stay tuned and we'll update this page once confirmed.
International guests will need a valid passport and may require an Australian visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). We recommend checking requirements with the Australian Department of Home Affairs well in advance of travel.
International Guests
Transport
Sydney's Opal card works across trains, buses, and ferries. It's worth picking one up on arrival if you're visiting from interstate or overseas. Uber and other rideshare services are widely available throughout the city.
Gift Registry
Your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift of all. For those who would like to contribute something further, a wishing well will be available on the day. Your generosity is deeply appreciated but never expected.
Thank you so much for being part of our celebration!
